My peptide didn't dissolve, or the solution looks cloudy or gelled

What causes cloudy, gelled, or undissolved peptides and how to address it.

Updated today

If your peptide hasn't fully dissolved, or the solution appears cloudy or gel-like after mixing, this is most often caused by mixing or storage conditions — not a problem with the peptide itself.

Common causes

  • High peptide concentration

  • Adding very cold BAC water

  • Placing the vial in the fridge immediately after mixing

  • Storing the vial in a colder section of the fridge

  • Smaller-than-recommended amounts of BAC water used

What you can try first

  1. Leave the vial at room temperature for 20–30 minutes

  2. Gently swirl the vial — do not shake

  3. Roll the vial slowly between your hands to warm it slightly

This will often resolve the issue without affecting the integrity of the peptide. The compound itself remains intact even when partially undissolved — it just means some peptide molecules haven't fully gone into solution yet.
