Why are some fields on the COA redacted?

Why we redact specific information on our Certificates of Analysis.

Lazarus Labs provides third-party verified COAs for transparency, but we selectively redact certain fields — for example the manufacturer name, unique code, and other identifiers — to protect supplier confidentiality and prevent source identification.

This is standard practice within our operating model and does not affect the validity or legitimacy of the test results.

This balance ensures that while proprietary relationships and sensitive business information are safeguarded, customers still receive essential transparency about product quality.

What's still visible on every COA

  • Peptide content and identity confirmation — confirms the peptide is what we say it is

  • Purity levels of the product — confirms the percentage purity from independent testing

  • Test date

  • Testing methodology

  • Janoshik Analytical's verification details

This means you can fully assess product quality and authenticity from the COA, even with the supplier-identifying fields redacted.

Limitations in Lab Verification Links and Publication Timing

In some cases, supplier COAs may not include a report number, which can limit the availability of direct lab-site verification links. Additionally, COAs are often published as test results become available, meaning that not all results may be accessible at a given time. Supplier COAs are conducted regularly, and only certain results may be published depending on the testing schedule.
