How should I store my peptide?

Storage guidance for lyophilised and reconstituted peptides.

Storage depends on whether the peptide is unmixed (lyophilised) or has been reconstituted.

Unmixed (lyophilised) peptides

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Most lyophilised peptides are stable at room temperature for short-term storage.

  • For long-term storage (months) — keep them in the fridge.

  • For very long-term storage (a year or more) — the freezer is generally preferred.

Reconstituted peptides

Once a peptide has been reconstituted with BAC water, it should be kept refrigerated at all times.

Avoid:

  • Repeated temperature changes (taking in and out of the fridge frequently)

  • Direct light exposure

  • Storing on the fridge door (temperature fluctuates more there — back of the fridge is more stable)

  • Letting it sit at room temperature for extended periods

Tesamorelin — post-reconstitution exception

Tesamorelin behaves differently to most peptides after reconstitution. Do not refrigerate or freeze it once reconstituted.

Store at room temperature (20°C to 25°C), protected from light, and use promptly — ideally within 7 days.

If your Tesamorelin has gelled or become gel-like after refrigeration:

  • Remove it from the fridge and leave it at room temperature.

  • Allow it to return to solution on its own — this can take some time.

  • Do not shake or force it. Gentle swirling is fine once it has softened.

  • Once back in solution, store at room temperature and use promptly.

Important note

Lazarus Labs supplies peptides strictly for laboratory and research purposes only. We can't provide guidance on dosing, administration, or use. The above is general storage information for lyophilised research compounds.

Bacteriostatic water storage

Bacteriostatic water vials do not need to be refrigerated — before or after opening. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat.

Once opened, a bacteriostatic water vial can be used for up to 12 months. Each vial is 10mL.
